Mavericks vs Celtics Preview: Game 1 of the NBA Finals is here

Kristaps Porzingis sends the shot away

The Dallas Mavericks are on the road for Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics. The game is nationally broadcast on all ABC affiliates and starts at 7:30 pm. The Dallas Mavericks made the finals by dispatching the Los Angeles Clippers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Minnesota Timberwolves. The Celtics are here via defeating the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Indiana Pacers. Here’s the main things to know:

  • WHO: Dallas Mavericks at Boston Celtics
  • WHAT: Game 1 of the NBA Finals
  • WHERE: TD Garden, Boston, Massachusetts
  • WHEN: 7:30 p.m. CST
  • HOW: ABC

The injury report is really clean considering the levels of basketball these two teams have played. Luka Doncic is probable with his array of leg issues. Olivier-Maxence Prosper is listed as questionable after his severe ankle sprain. Boston has no one listed, though Kristaps Porzingis has said himself that we’ll see if he’s at 100% or not after five weeks off for a calf sprain.

There’s plenty written on the site the last few days. If you’ve missed things, go back out to the homepage and click around. I’m really proud of the team here and what they’ve assembled for you to read.
